An advocate of holistic and integrative healthcare with the focus on the well-being of the whole person (mind, body, spirit), Linda naturally evolved into an experienced and certified life, spiritual, loss & grief coach, a professionally trained women’s workshop and retreat facilitator, public speaker, blogger, and an author whose first book is scheduled for release in early 2017. She is an intriguing and inspiring balance of left-brained intellect and right-brained intuitive.

Linda is also a registered nurse with a 27 year healthcare career. Beginning with a compassionate foundation in hospital based patient care, her role expanded into areas that influence and elevate the nursing and healthcare communities at large. Her work has transcended beyond a career and into a heart centered life of service and resultant joy and clarity. The spiritual understanding and the compassionate nonintrusive support she offers to other women comes to her through the gifts and humility of deep wisdom. She has been joyfully and painfully refined by the lives she has connected with during her nursing and coaching career, and also by her own intimate experiences of trauma, profound loss, and healing.

Linda feels her greatest contribution and joyful purpose has come from founding Chatoyant Living, LLC and assisting other women with their awakening and self-realization as they turn life’s challenges and painful transitions into the gemstones of their own personal and sacred works of art.

One of the best ways to celebrate Thanksgiving is by attending the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Since 1924, a traditional event in the city like no other! Fulfill a childhood dream and be dazzled with over 3 million spectators who line the streets as hundreds of floats, marching bands, dancers, celebrity performers, giant balloons, and of course Santa Claus, usher in the holiday season. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in NY begins at 9am EST at 77th Street and Central Park West and travels through the heart of Midtown culminating at 12pm at 34th Street in front of Macy’s Department Store.

Expect BIG sales and plenty of bang for your buck! Score some amazing discounts on hot items like (Apple) tablets and phones- Black Friday is the only day in the year that Apple gives discounts! Most products are on sale at their lowest prices of the year including top fashion brands and accessories at high end boutiques, electronics, popular toys, and much, much more.

This will be the Super Bowl of shopping- this is the busiest shopping day of the year, and there's no place to shop like New York City! Count on long lines, big crowds, and shopping excitement like no other. So be prepared to go with the flow and enjoy the ride! The best items do sell out fast; however, so we’ll be setting our alarm clocks to be among the first early birds to take advantage of the special deals and get those highly desired items on your Christmas lists.

Linda is a former resident of Manhattan and is a knowlegeable and entertaining guide. Linda will research the pre-sales, promotions, and ads, and will suggest a shopping itinerary in advance which will be based upon your requests, and she will provide the strategy to help you make the most of your shopping adventure! So get ready to revel in the city's best bargains and be sure to bring some very comfy walking flats, a small back pack rather than a purse, water and snacks, something to entertain you and help you keep your patience intact while you wait on line (smart phone, Kindle, etc.), and your shopping lists!

A complimentary, roomy shopping tote will be provided as a gift for your shopping convenience.

One of the most unique features of New York City is its beautiful oasis- Central Park. Both a National Historic Landmark as well as the most visited urban park in the United States and the most filmed location in the world, it is a critical piece of New York City’s distinctive character. On our 2-hour Central Park Bike Tour, you’ll have the opportunity to stop at many of the iconic, essential attractions of Central Park, including the Cherry Hill fountain, Strawberry Fields and Imagine Mosaic, Shakespeare Garden, Belvedere Castle, the Great Lawn, and so much more! The sensation of being surrounded by such lush nature, framed within a sea of towering skyscrapers is truly surreal. By the time our tour is over, you’ll have a profound understanding of why it has served as a muse to many artists, filmmakers, designers, writers, and beyond.

Welcome in the Christmas season in your premium seat for The Radio City Christmas Spectacular- the fantastic annual musical holiday stage show presented at Radio City Music Hall, the world's largest indoor theater! This joyful 90-minute show features more than 140 performers, an original musical score, and combines singing, dancing and humor with traditional scenes. The star performers are the women's precision dance troupe the Rockettes: 72 legs kicking in perfect harmony! Since the first version of the extravaganza was presented in 1933, the show has become a New York hallowed holiday tradition selling out shows all season long.

Broadway shows are one of the most popular tourist attractions in New York City, and many people believe the theatrical productions on Broadway are the best in the world. The Theater District is home to 40 large professional theaters. Each of these theaters seats 500 or more people with Broadway shows combined typically sell more than $1 billion in tickets a year! Each season there is a changing variety of productions, including plays and musicals staring famous and beloved stars, and because a few shows are so popular, they have been running for years and years. Chatoyant Living will secure your choice up-close seat to one of the most popular shows of the season.

Miraculously erected during The Great Depression, the Empire State Building serves as a symbol of hope, perseverance, and prosperity for the many who travel to NYC to see it. One of the most recognizable and iconic landmarks in the world, the only thing more spectacular than looking up at the Empire State Building from the streets of New York City is heading up to its 86th floor at 1,050-feet above ground and stepping out into the observation area to look out at 360-degrees of “the greatest city in the world”—a must do for any visitor to feel the heart of NYC!

The 9/11 Memorial is a national tribute of remembrance and honor to the men, women, and children killed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001. On the Tribute Center 9/11 Memorial Walking Tour, your tour guide will provide a brief history of the World Trade Center, the attacks, and the aftermath of 9/11.

All tour guides are 9/11 survivors, workers who assisted in recovery efforts, or family members who lost loved ones in the tragedy. They will provide you their unique accounts of survival, loss, and healing. After sharing their unique personal experiences, your guide will discuss the rebuilding of the new World Trade Center. The amazing perseverance and strength displayed by these volunteer guides as they talk about the future of the World Trade Center is truly inspiring and humbling.

As you explore the stunning, expressive memorial, you’ll see nearly 3,000 names of those fallen inscribed on bronze parapets surrounding the twin Memorial pools. Each of the Memorial’s twin reflecting pools are nearly an acre in size, and feature the largest man-made waterfalls in North America. The Memorial commemorates the largest loss of life resulting from a foreign attack on US soil, and the greatest single loss of rescue personnel in American history. Standing in the imprint of where these glorious towers once stood has been described as a life-changing experience.
