A 4-Day Woman's Wisdom Retreat with Linda Murray-Figueroa

Sponsored by Chatoyant Living

"You have survived. Now in the autumn of life, the question flutters like a falling leaf and lands softly at your feet, 'What have I survived for?' Shed the heavy armor, and clothe yourself with your true and splendid colors. My dear, it is time to arrive..."  -Linda

Have you spent most of your life running against the wind?

Do you rightfully and proudly think of yourself as a survivor?

Are your "normal" ways of coping still working for you as the person you are today?

Have you found that when you experience "letting go" with one hand, you are still fiercely clinging to survival mode with the other?

Join Linda and a community of amazing women "warriors" who have made it through life-challenges often alone amidst the agony of loss or trauma, and now find themselves standing at a pinnacle in life surveying what has been lost and what has been gained. This is the turning point that Linda refers to as "the vantage point of restorative vision". The next chapter of your life is unfolding and regardless of age, the rest of your life can always be the best of your life...

Set amidst the dazzling autumn display of color in breath-taking Stowe, Vermont over Columbus Day weekend at the very peak of the season it will be evident why Vermont has laid claim to The World's Best Foliage. The fiery colors paint a spectacular blanket and canopy that turn the roadways and mountains of Stowe into scenic perfection. High definition photographs reflect the beauty but cannot capture the experience of those who mindfully breathe in the crisp fragrant air and connect with the spirit of vibrant change that speaks to us through this living work of art.

During this retreat you will gain wisdom and insight, you will rest, and experience quiet meditative time, hiking, biking, light yoga, the local flair and nature's splendor, exquisite indulgence at a world class spa, and simple Vermont fresh cuisine. You'll be inspired, and your heart will be moved by the amazing women you'll meet and gather with in circle. You will know you are not alone. You will feel safe. You'll practice listening deeply, and you will be heard and honored. Perhaps with more understanding than you have ever known before... You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll relax, and open up. You'll learn to let go in wisdom, and you will awaken to remember the incredible loving woman that you are. The exercises and processes Linda facilitates are designed to assist you as you:

  • Recognize and respond to the symptoms of awakening
  • Learn the wisdom and art of mindful breathing and being
  • Practice listening and hearing your truth
  • Gain practical tools for honest reflection and self-evaluation
  • Explore what is holding you back
  • Invite empowerment through open-heart exercises
  • Experience basic energy work (aka let the Force be with you)
  • Discover how time is on your side
  • Remember your way home
  • Understand the beauty and grace of chatoyant living
  • Emerge within your authentic and true colors
"The strongest action for a woman is to love herself, be herself, and shine amongst those who never believed she could" - author unknown.

Facilitator:

Linda Murray-Figueroa, RN, BSN, CC Founder of Chatoyant Living

Linda is an intriguing and inspiring balance of left-brained intellect and right-brained intuitive.

Linda is a registered nurse with a 27 year healthcare career. Beginning with a compassionate foundation in hospital based patient care, her role has expanded into areas that influence and elevate the nursing and healthcare communities at large; cross country traveling nurse prn, surgical nurse/technician educator, AFRES commissioned officer, Healthcare IT Analyst involved with implementation and training of electronic documentation and records across multiple facilities in the US, and as a nation-wide healthcare IT consultant.

As an advocate of holistic and integrative healthcare with focus on the well-being of the whole person (mind, body, spirit), Linda has naturally evolved into an experienced and certified life, spiritual, loss & grief coach, a professionally trained women's workshop and retreat facilitator, public speaker, blogger, and an author whose first book is scheduled for release in early 2017.

Linda's work has transcended beyond a career and into a heart centered life of service and resultant joy and clarity. The spiritual understanding and the compassionate nonintrusive support she offers to other women comes to her through the gifts and humility of deep wisdom. She has been joyfully and painfully refined by the lives she has connected with during her nursing and coaching career, and also by her own intimate experiences of trauma, profound loss, and healing.

Linda feels her greatest contribution and joyful purpose has come from founding Chatoyant Living, LLC and assisting other women with their awakening and self-realization as they turn life's challenges and painful transitions into the gemstones of their own personal and sacred works of art.
